Availa Bank Welcomes New Loan Officer in Sioux City
Jeff Eaton brings years of experience and knowledge to the team.
Sioux City, Iowa (May 19, 2025) – Availa Bank is pleased to announce the hiring of Jeff Eaton as a Loan Officer at their Sioux City branch. As a Loan Officer, Eaton will be responsible for generating, approving, and maintaining quality loans for the bank’s portfolio.
Eaton is an experienced Commercial Loan Officer with thirty years of experience in the banking industry. He graduated from Morningside University in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Economics. Throughout his career, Eaton has become proficient in Commercial Real Estate, Commercial and Industrial, Commercial Construction, Small Business Association (SBA) and Economic Development programs. He is a two-time recipient of the Siouxland Economic Development Corporation Lender of the Year Award. He also attended the Iowa Bankers Association Leadership Institute, which is just one small part of his dedication to continued education that has allowed him to deliver high-quality service and support to clients, understanding their unique needs and providing tailored solutions.

Outside of work, Eaton is heavily involved in the community as a Board Member of the Siouxland Economic Development Corporation and Secretary of the Sioux City Downtown Kiwanis Club. He volunteers regularly at Goodwill of the Great Plains Shoe and Mitten Event for children, the Food Bank of Siouxland Backpack Program, and donates his time as a Salvation Army Bell Ringer. He was previously a Board Member and Graduate of Leadership Siouxland and a previous Board Member of the Siouxland Red Cross.
Eaton has lived in the Siouxland area for 35 years, residing in Sergeant Bluff since 2003. He is married with three children.
