Availa Bank Announces New Carroll Market President
Longtime team member, Wes Nordquist, will take over the role.
Carroll, Iowa (June 2, 2025) – Availa Bank is pleased to announce the promotion of Wes Nordquist, current VP Loan Officer, to Market President at their Carroll location. Nordquist has been with Availa Bank for ten years, and in his new role will continue to expand agriculture and commercial lending, as well as community involvement in the Carroll community.
Nordquist graduated from Buena Vista University in 2013 and completed the Iowa Bankers Association’s Ag Credit School and Commercial Lending School. He has been based out of the Council Bluffs area for several years in his lending role, but is very familiar with the Carroll area.
Outside of work, Nordquist is heavily involved in community organizations as a Board Member for the Denison Rotary Club and Friends of Crawford County Wellness Center. He was previously on the Board of the Union Pacific Museum and Historic General Dodge House in Council Bluffs. Nordquist is married with two children.
