Availa Bank Announces New Vice President Loan Officer
Cody Wragge, an experienced lender, is joining the Council Bluffs team
Council Bluffs, Iowa (July 5, 2022) – Availa Bank is proud to announce the hiring of Cody Wragge as the new Vice President Loan Officer at the Council Bluffs Downtown branch.
Cody comes to Availa Bank with over eight years of banking experience, previously holding the roles of Commercial Credit Analyst, Senior Commercial Lender, and Vice President of Commercial Lending in the Papillion and Omaha, Nebraska areas. As a Vice President Loan Officer, Cody’s primary responsibilities will be to develop and maintain the bank’s commercial portfolio.
Cody grew up in northeast Nebraska and has been living in the Omaha metro area for the past nine years. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Business Administration from Wayne State College.

Cody previously sat on the Board of Directors and Development Committee for the Sarpy Chapter of Habitat for Humanity. He was an Ambassador for the Sarpy County Chamber of Commerce and the Greater Bellevue Area Chamber. He is also a proud alumnus of Leadership Sarpy – Future Leaders of Sarpy County. Cody is looking forward to becoming heavily involved in the Council Bluffs area as he moves into his new role at the bank.
He currently lives in the Bellevue, Nebraska area with his wife, Maggie, and three boys, Brooks, Abel, and Barrett. In his spare time, Cody enjoys boating, camping, fishing, and spending time outdoors with his family.
